everyone is welcome at Inglewood athletics

We all have different athletic skills and strengths, but we’re one big Burgundy family.

Little Athletics in the Heart of Your Community

For half a century, the Inglewood Little Athletics Centre has been part of your local community. With our home ground at Dianella Reserve, we’re just around the corner.

Whether you live close by or are happy to drive to be part of the famous Burgundy vibe, we’d love to welcome your family to our club.

We’re one big athletics family – we train together, compete together, and celebrate together.

What do we do at Inglewood Athletic Centre?

Little athletics is all about having fun, keeping fit and making friends; and Senior athletics is a great way to extend the fun and test your best self against athletes of all ages!

Our track and field events are tailored to suit the age and abilities of our athletes. Summer events at Inglewood Centre comps include:

  • running (sprints and long distance)
  • race walking
  • hurdles
  • jumping (long jump, high jump, triple jump)
  • throwing (javelin, shot put, discus)

We also have cross country and road walking during the Winter season.

Participation depends on the age of your athlete.

We train during the week and compete mostly on Saturday mornings (check out our training or competition pages for more information, all with the help of our amazing committee, coaches, and volunteers).

Our values are key

When you join the Inglewood Athletics family, you’ll become part of an awesome club that’s growing stronger every year.

We are all about:

  • Fun

Sport should be fun, and you’ll have loads of fun and lots of laughs when you join the Burgundy family.

  • Family

At the Inglewood Athletics Centre, everyone is included like family and our parent volunteers make Team Burgundy the best family club in WA.

  • Fitness

Keeping your kids fit and healthy is all part of the fun. It’s the perfect summer sport, and is great preparation for winter football, soccer, netball, hockey, basketball and more.

  • Friendships

Your athlete will meet new people and make new friends as they cheer each other on and celebrate each others’ achievements.

  • Personal bests

We celebrate personal bests, participation, building confidence and resilience, and creating a culture where everyone belongs. We believe it’s these things that build great humans.

Get active and enjoy the warmer months outdoors as you cheer on your kids, watch them make new friends and have loads of fun. We’d love for you to join us.

Meet your Inglewood Athletics Committee members

Like all community sports, it wouldn’t be possible to run the Inglewood Little Athletics Centre without the hard work and dedication of our committee.

Thank you to our 2025/26 committee members. Your work on and off the track helps make our club strong.

Athlete Testimonials

Everybody is so supportive and it's heaps of fun. We all love cheering each other on. I've met so many new people and last season we even did a Secret Santa together! It's like coming to a big party or picnic every Saturday. Mum, Dad and my sister all help out on throws and I get to say 'Hi' to them on my way past. Plus the food is awesome!

I started at Inglewood when I was 7 years old and made some great friends. We stayed together all the way to U17s and then a couple of us stayed on into Seniors, competing for Inglewood at Strive. Inglewood will always be special to me.
